Thanksgiving 2008.
Subjects missing: Ben and Melissa.

My first victim was Brianna. So cute and innocent...

But she caught on to me and found her dad's legs to hide in.So I moved on to Josalyn. But that didn't last long...It was her feeding time... Apparently it takes two.So I moved on to Mr. Rambo. Ross and Michelle were calling him by his alias, AMBITO. I think this was the only time he sat still...I got a quick snap of him and Jackson.
But Mike got a hold of him and started to play.So I moved on to the people actually making our Thanksgiving meal. Here is Meeshi. (I made sure everyone had a taste before I ate it).
and Jackson making his famous Potatoes with a secret receipe. They were VERY good.
and here are the slackers waiting for their food. Just kidding :)

Here is Mom and Brianna playing some mysterious marker game
And Ali and Zack beating each other up -like always
Until next time...

Well Vega passed away yesterday November 12, 2008. She was about 16 years old (112 in dog years). Mom found her laying in the grass in the back yard and Mike helped bury her underneath the apple tree. She sure did love those apples! Here is a blog post in memory of our favorite family friend. These are all the pictures I have-if you want to post any or write any memories, fill free.
DON'T FORGET: ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN!!!

Vega was tough enough for the boys...But sweet enough for the girls...
Always burying her treasure (in the dirt)...
Had a few tricks up her sleeve...
Loved the garden (to poop in) and flowers, and apples, and bees, and skunks, and porcupines...
Loved her puppies (what was it? 27 puppies total?)...
Willing to travel...Always watching out for us kids...
And always smiling...

De VEGA De Ville, De VEGA De Ville...
Of course, my favorite memory is dressing her up-and she loved it :) I also like to remember how she used to watch us eat through the glass doors. And mom would get mad about her nose prints being all over the glass.
Man, she was so smart! She may have been a mutt, but she was a pure bred one! Of course everyone's favorite memory is of us playing fetch with her white soccer ball. She never wanted to quit, even if she was DOG tired or really thirsty. I hope she is still playing ball and we hope to play with her again some day.

Every year around Halloween time, Gardner's village has a 'Witches Night Out'. It's for women only and everyone dresses as a witch. Gardner's village is a former village of about 12 little homes and an old mill. Archibald Gardner had 12 wives and he made the 12 little homes for them and their children. The homes have now been turned into shops and the old mill is a restaurant. This year, all the shops were so packed with witches that you couldn't get in and the wait for dinning was 3 and a half hours! Britt, Michelle, and I has a BLAST this year. It was as if we were the 3 Disney witch celebrities. All night people were asking to take our picture and were telling us that our costumes were AWESOME! My favorite was when someone said I looked so much like the Queen of Narnia that I was scaring her! ha ha ha This was definitely a night we will always remember. And yes, Mary Poppins is a witch and she can cackle. Boo

Brittney was the evil queen from Snow White.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?Michelle was Mary Poppins. She just landed in this picture :) ...perfectly perfect in every way

I was the White Witch from The Chronicles of Narnia. I was in character pretty much the whole night. When people would stare at me, I pointed my spear at them-and then they looked away.

This is Jake and Michelle's new puppy!!! His name is Rambo and he is going to be Rambo for Halloween. So cute...

Her first mosquito bite!
